There are 7 things that God hates ! In Proverbs 6, He calls them abominable. Abominable means disgusting! God calls these 7 things DISGUSTING!!
What are they?
Haughty Eyes – Pride
Hands that shed innocent blood – Murder
A false witness who breaths out lies – Gossip, Slander
Lying tongue – Liar
One who stirs up conflict among brothers – Gossip, disunity
Feet that run to evil – take the easy way out
A heart that plots wicked schemes – looks for ways to kill, steal and destroy
When God calls something disgusting, we need to give it our full attention!!!
Cry out to Him to search you and see if any wicked way is found in you ….. These ways are insidious and can creep in. Be alert and on guard.
Cry out to Him in the words of David, to create in you a clean heart…..
And if He highlights any iniquity, turn quickly and let Him restore your soul!
